The existing Georgina Island Native United Church was built in 1964, and our addition was dedicated in 1996.

Reverend Betty Lou McNabb conducts our Sunday Services, which are at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings.

Church School for the children is held on Wednesdays at 3:30 pm.

Everyone is welcome to attend the services!

The Church Board consists of :Chairperson – ; Treasurer – Lynn Mooney; Secretary – Natalie Priester; and Board Members – Sue Hoeg,  Deanna Big Canoe, Charlotte Linders and Youth Rep-Faith Big Canoe.

The Church Committee holds various fundraising events throughout the year such as the annual Lenten Pancake Supper & Fall Pasta Dinner, bake sales, dime sales, bingos & basket raffles.

The Committee also assists children wishing to attend “Camp Big Canoe” during the summer holidays.

Georgina Island Native Pastoral Charge gives generously to the Mission & Service Fund annually.

Georgina Island Native Pastoral Charge is generously supported by The Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation.
